Q. Why should I register with Ingenia Recruitment?

Q. Can you guarantee to get me a job?

We can create opportunities but getting the job is up to you. We will only put you forward for jobs that we believe you are capable of and have a good chance of getting. The final outcome depends upon your performance at interview.

Q. Are your vacancies permanent?

Over 96% of all the vacancies Ingenia handle are full time permanent positions, if this is not the case then it will be indicated on the vacancy when advertised.

Q. Do I have to pay Ingenia anything?

No - It would be illegal for us (or anyone else) to charge you for finding a job.  Whoever employs you pays for our service.

Q. Will my current employer find out that I am considering a move?

Not from us they won't, we guarantee not to take up references from your current employer and any information we send out has no name on it.

Q. What if I do not want to go for an interview or take up a job offer?

No problem, its your career and we cannot make you do anything. All we ask is that you be honest and let us no what you want to do.

Q. What information will you send to the companies?

We create a confidential profile of you, on which you are identified only as a reference number.

Q. Is the basic salary less because I have used a recruitment agency?

No, your salary has nothing to do with us. Ingenia charge the company a fee which does not affect any package that you negotiate with the company that employs you.

Q. Is my contract of employment with you or the company?

Your contract of employment is directly with the company that employs you and has nothing to do with Ingenia, unless you are on a Temporary Contract which will have been outlined and agreed with you in advance.

Q. Why do I need to come in for an interview?

Many agencies will simply accept your CV and then send it out to companies in the hope that you appear to ‘fit the bill’ for any vacancy they may have. Circulating your CV means that your current employer could easily find out that you are looking for a move. It is important for you and us that we understand what you are all about, what your goals are as well as your likes and dislikes. We can only do a professional job for you if we meet to discuss your career aspirations.
